Cuireadh tús le Slógadh i 1970. Bhí sé bunaithe ar Eistedfodd na Breataine Bige agus lean an fhéile go 2001. Le linn an ama sin bhí sé aitheanta mar an fhéile ba mhó san Eoraip a bhí ag freastal ar an óige. Bain sult as na ghrianghraif agus tá lánchead aon cheann acu a íoslódáil. Slógadh was extremely popular for three decades with thousands taking part in a huge range of musical, singing, dancing, drama, literary and art competitions.
